In your role, you will be part of a small, agile, engineering team, working as a lead product line chassis and component design engineer.
Leading your project cross-functionally, you will be responsible for the specification, design, development and procurement of components, assemblies and systems that contribute to world class-leading motorcycles – from concept ideation to industrialisation.
Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, you will own the product creation process, working flexibly with Manufacturing, Product Strategy and Sourcing teams, whilst ensuring conformity to regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design systems and components for new model and facelift chassis projects, considering function, cost, manufacturing, assembly and quality.
- Produce 3D CAD models using Solidworks (experience of other CAD packages also considered) to the required approval and release standard.
- Design components and systems to comply with regulatory requirements (UK & EU) and to internal test procedures.
- Lead Cross-functional design and approval management reviews.
- Liaise with internal functional stakeholders to ensure alignment of technical and business needs.
- Liaise with external suppliers to ensure design for manufacture feedback is incorporated.
- Plan & manage time, workload and reporting requirements effectively.
- Create and manage timing plans for own areas of responsibility.
- Create and manage BoM & supplier delivery plans for own areas of responsibility.
- Support development programmes with the testing of components and motorcycles.

Qualifications:
- Qualified to degree level or equivalent in a relevant Engineering discipline (Automotive, Motorsport, Mechanical, Aeronautical).
Experience:
- Demonstrable experience in engineering design of components and subassemblies.
- Detailed knowledge of modern manufacturing processes.
- Proficient in 3D CAD & rudimentary FEA Analysis.
- Experience of creating and releasing 2D technical drawings.
- Thorough understanding of motorcycle chassis layout and construction.
- Practical experience of motorcycle maintenance and preparation is advantageous.
- Experience in designing to global regulatory requirements specifically to motorcycles.
- Experience of leading design and senior management reviews.

CCM Motorcycles are recruiting a highly experienced Mobile Motorcycle Technician based in the South / South East region and ideally, a team GP mechanic who is now looking to settle in the UK.
The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate the following qualities;
• Highly experienced in motorcycle maintenance, set-up and diagnostics
• An ability to report on issues found to the design team to further improve our products
• Excellent customer relationship and interaction – customer must be 100% happy with the service received.

As a motorcycle assembler, you will be challenged with a variety of mechanical tasks with the main focus on assembling sub-assemblies for motorcycles.
Preferred: Experience within a hands-on mechanical assembly background.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Assembling Sub-assembly sections of motorcycles
- Electrical cable work

Key Responsibilities:
- Create quality standards for motorcycle models and train manufacturing on model quality requirements.
- Implement a quality standards system and best practice methodology for plant parts inspection processes.
- Manage part approval processes for parts on new projects, ensuring that pre-production builds have the right part, to the right Quality and at the right time.

Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Design team manager, you will be working on all aspects of Motorcycle chassis design, with additional involvement with our current model improvement programmes and vehicle test team.
- Design components for new model and facelift chassis projects, considering function, cost, manufacturing, regulation, assembly and quality.
- Produce 3D CAD models using Solidworks (experience of other CAD packages also considered) to the required approval and release standard.
- Liaise with internal functional stakeholders to ensure alignment of technical and business needs.
